Why Little Laundry Company

Local Roots. Professional Expertise. A More Sustainable Laundry.
South West Wash is an eco-focused commercial laundry service based in South Devon, founded in 2021 by local entrepreneurs Jack Wood and Tom Sercombe. Combining decades of experience in professional laundry, commercial equipment and reprocessing, they set out to create a modern laundry service that delivers exceptional results while reducing its environmental impact. From humble beginnings with one washing machine and one tumble dryer in an outbuilding, South West Wash has grown into a thriving commercial laundry serving businesses across the South West. Today, our experienced team provides professional laundry services to hotels, B&Bs, holiday lets, restaurants and other hospitality businesses.

Built on Experience
Jack brings over a decade of experience through C.R. Wood Electrical, the South West’s largest Miele partner, supplying and servicing domestic and commercial equipment. Growing up around the family business gave Jack a strong foundation in engineering, equipment and customer service. Tom brings more than 25 years of experience in the commercial laundry industry. His career has included commercial and domestic engineering, working with Miele and specialising in laboratory equipment, validation and process. Together, Jack and Tom bring a unique depth of knowledge to the laundry industry.

Professional Laundry with the Environment in Mind
Our commitment to quality is matched by our focus on sustainability. South West Wash is equipped with Miele Professional washing machines, tumble dryers and rotary irons, allowing us to provide a consistently high-quality finish while carefully caring for your laundry. Our Totnes laundry also uses air-source heat pump technology for 100% of our drying, meaning we operate without gas for the drying process. We’re proud of how far South West Wash has come, but our focus remains the same: providing reliable, professional and more environmentally conscious commercial laundry services for businesses across South Devon and the wider South West.
